Summer

So I can not (once again) believe it`s been so long since my last post. I have finished my first year of college. I still have two exams to pass, but I have met the demands and I am allowed to enroll in my second year of college. How are you, my lovely readers doing? And more importantly how are you spending your summer vacations? I can hardly believe it`s already the end of August. It went by so fast. Luckily I still have another month of doing nothing :D Well not exactly. I have found a job. I am waitressing and I have to say it`s a nice job.
But working is not all I`ve been doing. I was at the seaside in Vodice, Croatia  with my friends. I had the best time. I think it might have been the best time I`ve had at the seaside. Four girls, five nights, endless conversations, laughing all the time, sun, tanning, swimming, cute guys. Aaahh yes it was so lovely.

Now I`m preparing myself for the two exams I told you at the beginning of this post. So keep your fingers crossed :)

Wednesday

“Try to say nothing negative about anybody for three days, for forty-five days, for three months. See what happens to your life.” — Yoko Ono

Yes, yes, yes. I am all about that. I think I came across this lovely quote for a reason. As a reminder. Being negative or saying negative, mean things about others will not make you a better person. Even if a particular person is mean or being a total bit*h, just smile and say nothing. Don`t concentrate on negative people and focus all your energy on trash talking about them. Instead focus on yourself, self love, be positive and smile. This is something I have to remind myself lately. That`s why I think I came across this quote. :)

On Monday I visited my sister. Her new apartment is so lovely. I had nice time catching up with her. Seeing her independence, having her own car, apartment... I realized how much I want those things. Being on your own aahhh can`t wait. Of course with that comes responsibility and  lots of bills. Oh and yesterday my sister and I finally met with our friends we met when we went to Corfu last September. Now this is a story for another post, so funny, such coincidence... The funny part is that we all live in small city but haven`t seen each other since last New Year`s party. I laughed my ass of, one of the guys is the most hilarious person I`ve met. And we made plans for next week, to have a housewarming party. Can`t wait, those guys and girl are so cool  to party with.
Tomorrow I have my second exam, and afterwards I`m meeting with my friend for lunch at Asian restaurant Da Buda, which I love. It`s funny though, because the only thing I eat there is Pad Thai with vegetables. But it`s so good I don`t even want anything else. I tried something else twice, but Pad Thai is way too good haha.
So what else is new? I can`t wait to finish with my exam term. I found a college that is perfect for me, and not to expensive, but still expensive enough that I don`t know if I`ll be able to apply. But I`m not loosing my hope.
The snow has finally covered the ground yeey :)
And this is the song that is currently stuck in my head

So that`s all for now. Hope you have nice evening :*

Snow

Yaaay finally!!! I`ve been waiting for snow all winter long! Unfortunately in my city there is barely any snow, while my friend is lucky enough to have 20cm of it. I hope it will snow again, leaving behind lots and lots of snow :D What can I say I really like snow. Landscape looks so calm, peaceful, magical and pure, all covered in white. Magical.
Something like that would be lovely:

Quote of the Day

“Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don’t matter, and those who matter don’t mind.” — Dr. Seuss

This needs to become my new mantra. I should repeat that more often and remember it!

Healthy start of the day - Banana-apple-raspberry smoothie

Last few days were nothing but junk food for me. And while it tastes delicious, soon I feel like a piece of garbage, I have no energy and I become super lazy. It is true when they say "You Are What You Eat". So today I started my day properly, with a healthy smoothie. I love smoothies, because they are easy and quick to make, you can put in any kind of fruit or vegetable, you can make it with milk or water. And what˙s important to me is they are healthy and they make me full. This is what I made myself today:
Ingredients:
- Banana
- An Apple
-Raspberries
- Goji berries
- Camu Camu
- Maca powder
-Soy Milk
- Cinnamon
Put everything in blender, press go and voila, you have your smoothie! Enjoy!

My top 5 songs right now

Currently on repeat. Check them out, maybe you`ll find something you like. What are your top songs right now? :)
1.) Shakira ft. Rihanna - Can`t Remember To Forget You
Love it! Absolutely perfect.
2.)  Def Leppard - I Wanna Touch You
I think it`s pretty obvious that if I make any list of my favorite tracks of any kind, there will always be Def Leppard on it. Right now I can`t get enough of this one. :D
3.) Lea Michele - Battlefield
I am really happy that she has decided to make her own album. I mean with a voice like hers it would be a sin not to make one. I really love this song.
4.) Guns N` Roses - November Rain
It just feels right.
5.) Queen - Killer Queen
Lately I`ve started listening to a lot of Queen`s music. I`ve  known a few songs of theirs, but only the most famous ones. Anyway here is one that has been stuck in my head for days ( obviously I mean in a good way) :)

Candy Crush obsession

I don`t play a lot of games. Actually apart from The Sims there is only one other game I play. Candy Crush. My friend showed it to me about a year ago, and I instantly became obsessed with the game. Are you familiar with this game, do you like it? I`m currently on level 453 and I still haven`t got bored. I am literally addicted to the game. Basically what you do is creating rows or columns with three candies of the same colour to remove them. Then you make combinations with 4 or 5 candies to create special sweets. Combine the special sweets to create spectacular effects that will crush even more candy! Along the way there are obstacles like chocolate, blocks, holes... Anyway try it and then tell me what you think of it :)
And the best part is you can play it on Facebook, on your phone or Kindle.

New Year, New Beginnings

It`s only polite of me to start this post with wishing a Happy New Year to all my lovely readers! It has been almost a year and a half since my last entry. I got caught up in anything and everything. Or maybe I was just too lazy to write. I don`t know. There have been many times I thought about writing something, but never pursued the idea. Recently one of my best friends started writing her own blog. And it inspired me to "awake" my own. Gosh so many things happened during this year and a half.

Here are kisses to all of you :)
Most people start a new year by writing their New Year`s resolutions. I am one of those people. I write them every year. Do I accomplish them? Well some yes, some no. But new year represents a  new beginning, a fresh start, opportunity to change old habits,to redeem ones self... It gives people hope.
So here are some of my resolutions, I`m not revealing all of them ;)
1. Be optimistic, happy and have a positive outlook on things
2. Get healthy (clean diet), move that lazy butt, exercise
3. Get good grades
4. Go to New York
5. Learn German
6. Do Yoga
So far hmmm well let me just say I have some work to do. What are your New Year`s resolutions?

Lady Gaga concert in Vien, 18. 8. 2012, The Born This Way Ball

OMG! Ok so I finally took some time to write this. As you all know I`ve been to Lady Gaga`s concert last Saturday. How was it? Well it was absolutely AMAZING!!!! I was taken aback when she came on stage and I started screaming so loud (just like everybody around me :D), jumping around and yes I have to admit I started to cry (not a lot but like two or three tears of happiness ). She sings sooo good live!!
I really had so much fun, like never before. This time I didn`t took a lot of pictures because all the ones I took were really poor quality and even the ones I got are really blurry. So I just said to myself ok try to get at least a few pictures, then put your camera in your purse and just have fun and enjoy the concert. So I did. It was the most crazy, fun night ever. The crowd was great, and I loved watching how people dressed in gaga-inspired clothes. I even took a picture with one of them :)
I just still can`t really believe that I saw her, but well I know I did ;)
Can`t wait for her new album and then her next tour. Lady Gaga you are a true inspiration to all of us. A world would be a much better place if everybody would be so open minded, non judgemental and free as you are. Anyway she rocked it! The Born This Way Ball was incredible!
PAWS UP!
 The ticket :)
